Vision Statement
Pocatello will be the best place in Idaho to raise a family, start a business, and serve your neighbor – where growth is planned, opportunity shared, and our public tone reflects the pride we feel in our city.

Empower Change
As your city council representative, I will advocate for policies that promote growth, inclusivity, and sustainability. Let’s build a brighter future together.

“While serving as the Supervisor, Idaho Division of Veteran Services, Office of Veterans Advocacy, I worked with all of Idaho’s County Veteran Services Officers. Melissa Hartman was always the most impressive person serving in that position. Her attention to details while serving her veterans and their families resulted in the best possible outcomes. For over two decades she has continually improved the lives of those she represented. I am confident Melissa will do the same for all Pocatello residents. Her passion for improving the quality of life for everyone in Pocatello will be demonstrated in each decision she makes as a member of the City Council. Melissa needs your vote and you need her as your thoughtful, compassionate representative on the Pocatello City Council.”

Support Melissa
“On a personal level, Melissa enrolled me in the Veteran Affairs healthcare system just days after we met. This proved to be invaluable, although I didn’t know it at the time. When a crisis took me to my knees Melissa was the first person I wanted to see for help. Her calming demeanor and professionalism guided me to a treatment facility. I would not have qualified for this service If she hadn’t got me enrolled in the V.A. Healthcare system. Melissa saved my life and I know she has saved the lives of many other Veterans.
Since 2010 Melissa has worked countless hours as the Chair of the Idaho Field of Heroes Memorial. When questioned if the Field was still relevant, Melissa is the first one to validate the importance of the FOH to the Gold Star families, and bringing our community together as one to honor all that served.
She has also assisted in our local Toys for Tots campaign for many years always keeping accurate records to assure that the over three thousand kids have present’s to open on Christmas Day.
I could elaborate on her years of participation in the Southeastern Idaho Homeless Standown, the Military Affairs Committee, the Marine Corps League, and many other nonprofit organizations. I think you get my point when I say that Melissa’s honest approach and dedication to whatever she does is topnotch.
Melissa is tenacious and will not stop until the mission is completed. These are just a few things that will make her an essential part of the team.
I am voting for Melissa to be on the City Council because I know she will bring positive change for everyone in our community, and the city of Pocatello. I encourage you to vote for Melissa Hartman as the way of the future.”
