Hi! I’m Melissa
My husband and I have been married since 1999. Together we have 7 children and 12 grandchildren. I’ve worked for Bannock County Veteran Services since 2006 and prior to that I worked for the Idaho Division of Veteran Services.
My husband served in the U.S. Marine Corps as well as the U.S. Army. He is a Desert Storm / Desert Shield combat veteran. I’m incredibly proud to be his wife and partner in life.
I was born and raised in Pocatello. My mom was a single mother and I’m an only child. My mom worked at AMI, now LA Semiconductor. I remember how much support her employer, supervisors and co-workers gave us. It is because of my Mom that my work ethic is the caliber it is.
Family is incredibly important to me. I’m active in my church and other activities. I love watching my grandchildren grow. I love watching them play sports and dance in dance recitals. I want my grandchildren’s children to WANT to live in Pocatello with it’s magnificent mountain range and the magical evening sky. Let’s join together and bring Poky Pride to life again.
